All James Bond Films Set to Land on Netflix in 2026
Netflix is gearing up to stream every James Bond film from January 15, as Amazon MGM Studios continues to licence out its iconic library to other platforms.
From January 15, Netflix subscribers will be able to catch every single James Bond film, with all 26 instalments making their way onto the streaming giant. This move comes even though Amazon MGM Studios now holds the rights to the 007 franchise, showing that the company is sticking to its approach of sharing its classic titles with other platforms.
"When Amazon acquired MGM, Amazon's plan was to continue licensing MGM's iconic library to streaming and television partners around the world,"
said Chris Ottinger, who heads up worldwide distribution at Amazon MGM Studios.
"Bringing these iconic films and shows to Netflix is part of that continued strategy."
Bond’s Streaming Adventures
This isn’t the first time Bond has popped up somewhere other than Prime Video. Not long ago, the entire collection was available on Pluto, a free streaming service. But Netflix’s new deal goes a step further, including the 1983 film Never Say Never Again. That one’s a bit of an oddball in the Bond universe, as it features Sean Connery’s last outing as the famous spy, but isn’t officially part of the main series since it wasn’t produced by Eon Productions.
With all the films landing on one of the world’s most popular streaming services, it’s a clever way to keep Bond in the spotlight while fans wait for the next chapter in the saga.
What’s Next for 007?
The next Bond film is still a fair way off, with Denis Villeneuve, known for his work on Dune, set to direct. Details about the project are being kept under wraps, so punters will have to be patient for any news about the new adventure.
In the meantime, Netflix’s Bond collection is sure to keep fans busy. Whether you’re keen to revisit the classics or catch up on the ones you’ve missed, there’s plenty to keep you entertained until the next big announcement.
