Johansson, fresh from a string of high-profile roles, is now reportedly being courted by the DC Universe. The word is she’s being considered for Gilda Gold, Harvey Dent’s wife, in the much-anticipated sequel.
Gilda Gold is a significant figure in the comics, married to Harvey before his transformation into the infamous villain Two-Face. Harvey, once a close ally of Batman, spirals into criminality after a traumatic incident leaves him scarred and fractured.

Tragedy struck when Gilda was attacked by Erin McKillen, a criminal with a grudge against Harvey. The assault left Gilda fatally wounded, and McKillen later disfigured Harvey with acid, setting him on the path to becoming Two-Face.
