Lately, I’ve found myself a bit sidetracked by a certain telly show. The Chair Company, the latest brainchild from Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin, has been the talk of the town. This oddball blend of comedy and conspiracy has just wrapped up its first run, leaving viewers with more questions than answers and a heap of anticipation for what’s next. The last episode takes a wild turn when Ron, the main bloke, adopts a dog he calls Baby. Things get stranger when it’s revealed the dog actually belongs to a mysterious fellow named Asher Barton, who might be more than he seems. The real name of the dog? Minnie Mouse. Ron asks Asher to snap a photo of him with the dog and tag him on Instagram, which he does without fuss.

Scrolling through the comments, Ron spots a flurry of angry replies from users like @noodlebattery1, @astro.crumbs, and most notably, @ghosttoast_studios. The latter drops the episode’s title in a comment:

‘Minnie Mouse coming back wasn’t on my bingo card.’

That’s not exactly subtle. The red ball motif has popped up throughout the series, so it’s hard to ignore. With the show already renewed, it’s a fair bet that this date—April 23, 2026—could be when the next season lands. It’s a quick turnaround for a streaming series, but this one doesn’t look like it needs a massive production schedule. It’s not the sort of show that drags out for years between seasons.

What the Date Could Mean for Fans

The timing of the renewal announcement, just a fortnight before the finale, also lines up with this theory. Still, with a show as unpredictable as this, it’s just as likely to be a red herring.
