From Lobo’s Spacehog to Darkseid’s Mother Box, discover the wildest and most dangerous vehicles in DC Comics that could turn the tide in James Gunn’s DCU. These machines are more than just transport—they’re game changers.

DC Comics has a long history of wild and inventive vehicles, each as unique as the characters who pilot them. With James Gunn now steering the DCU, there’s a real chance some of these legendary machines could make their way onto the big screen, bringing a fresh edge to the franchise’s films and series.

Outlandish Machines and Their Ruthless Drivers

First up is Lobo’s Spacehog, a floating motorbike powered by anti-gravity tech and a massive energy plant. Only Lobo can handle this beast, which lets him zip through space at breakneck speed, loaded with weapons and unmatched mobility. With Jason Momoa set to play Lobo, punters can expect this iconic ride to show up soon.

Lex Luthor’s Flying Command Centre is another standout. While a version popped up in the 2025 Superman film, Luthor’s obsession with Kryptonian tech means he’s always looking to outdo himself. In some stories, he builds his own airborne fortress, bristling with weapons of mass destruction, ready to take on Superman and anyone else who gets in his way.

Stealth, Firepower, and Unstoppable Force

Wonder Woman’s Invisible Jet is more than just a clever way to get around. Early on, Diana didn’t have the power of flight, so she relied on this nearly indestructible, telepathically linked aircraft. It’s got top-notch stealth and enough firepower to hold its own in a fight.

Batman’s Batwing is a custom-built aerial combat vehicle, kitted out with miniguns, lasers, and missile launchers. It’s fast enough to keep up with the Justice League’s best and can be tweaked for any mission. Then there’s the Absolute Batmobile, a monstrous machine based on a mining truck. It’s been souped up with underwater capabilities, turret guns, sniper spots, and tyres taller than a bus—perfect for flattening anything in its path.

Alien Tech and Planet-Busting Power

Hawkman’s Soarship, built with Thanagarian technology, has seen plenty of upgrades over the years. It can shrink, expand, and move at speeds close to teleportation, all while being nearly impossible to destroy. The Justice League’s Javelin, meanwhile, is designed for deep space and underwater travel, armed with enough weaponry to take on a small planet.

Brainiac’s Skull Ship is a cybernetic fortress, created after Brainiac uploaded his mind into a digital world. It’s loaded with weapons that can disable and control other tech, making it a nightmare for any opponent. Mongul’s Warworld Battlecraft is a mobile fortress the size of a planet, bristling with weapons that even Superman and Supergirl struggle to handle. If it ever made its way to Earth, the place wouldn’t stand a chance.

Reality-Bending Threats

Finally, there’s Darkseid’s Mother Box, which might not look like a vehicle in the traditional sense, but it can teleport entire armies across galaxies. As seen in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Darkseid uses it to invade Earth. The real danger, though, is its link to the Anti-Life Equation—a formula that lets its user control or wipe out entire populations with a thought. No explosions, just pure existential dread and the power to end worlds.
