Heated Rivalry’s Connor Storrie has his sights set on a bold MCU villain role, while his co-star hints at a DC superhero dream. Find out which characters they’re keen to play next.

With the recent buzz around the sports-romance series Heated Rivalry, one of its leading blokes, Connor Storrie, has shared his ambition to take on a rather striking villain from the Marvel universe. In a chat with Variety, Storrie admitted he’s keen to step into the shoes of Gorr the God Butcher, a role made famous by Christian Bale. He’s drawn to the idea of playing a bald, menacing character, saying:

I want to be bald. Remember that Christian Bale character [Gorr the God Butcher] in that “Thor” movie where he was completely painted grey, and he had black teeth, and he was bald? Give me something weird like that.

Although the opportunity to play this particular villain in the MCU may have passed, Storrie’s career is just getting started. There’s every chance he’ll land a similar role down the track. Meanwhile, another cast member from the HBO Max series has his own comic book aspirations, but he’s looking towards the DC universe.

Hudson Williams Sets Sights on DC’s Nightwing

Following a strong first season, Heated Rivalry has been picked up for a second run. Despite the renewal, Storrie’s co-star Hudson Williams seems to have his eye on a different gig outside the series. In a recent Instagram story, Williams was spotted holding a copy of Nightwing: Year One and tagged DC Studios’ co-CEO James Gunn, cheekily asking if he fancied a coffee.

Williams has made it clear he’d love to play Nightwing in the DCU, especially with the upcoming Brave and the Bold film in the works. With talk of the Bat family coming together on screen, Nightwing’s inclusion is looking more and more likely. If Williams keeps up his campaign, he might just land the part.

Potential Villain Roles for Storrie in the MCU

Storrie has already shown his knack for darker roles, having played an inmate in the closing scenes of Joker: Folie à Deux. It’s not a stretch to imagine him as a villain in either the MCU or DCU. One character that springs to mind is Harry Osborn, also known as The Green Goblin, especially if Marvel Studios decides to shake things up after Phase 6. Storrie’s ability to portray emotional depth and volatility could make him a strong fit for the role.

Another intriguing option would be The Maker, a younger, more twisted version of Reed Richards, post-Secret Wars. The Maker is known for his cold logic and lack of emotional ties, a character type that Storrie could handle well given his previous performances. If Marvel is on the lookout for a fresh villain, Storrie could be just the bloke for the job.
