The 2026 Razzies shortlist is out, spotlighting the year's most disappointing films and performances. Snow White and War of the Worlds are front-runners for the infamous awards.

Just days before the Oscars roll out the red carpet, the Razzies have dropped their 2026 nominations, once again shining a torch on the films and performances that left punters shaking their heads. Since 1981, the Golden Raspberry Awards have been taking the mickey out of Hollywood’s less-than-stellar efforts, and this year’s list is no exception.

Leading the charge is Disney’s much-hyped Snow White, starring Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot. Despite all the promo, it’s ended up as one of the studio’s biggest flops, racking up six nods including ‘Worst Picture’. The film’s All Seven Artificial Dwarfs have also copped a mention in ‘Worst Supporting Actor’ and ‘Worst Screen Combo’ categories, making it a rough year for the fairytale reboot.

War of the Worlds and Other Notable Contenders

Not far behind, War of the Worlds, featuring Ice Cube, has also scored six nominations. Filmed remotely during the pandemic and quietly released on Prime Video, it’s now in the running for several Razzies. In a cheeky twist, Ice Cube and His Zoom Camera are up for ‘Worst Screen Combo’, poking fun at the film’s unique production style.

The ‘Worst Screen Combo’ category is packed with odd pairings this year. Alongside Ice Cube, there’s Robert De Niro and Robert De Niro (for playing dual roles in The Alto Knights), and The Weeknd and His Colossal Ego for Hurry Up Tomorrow. The Razzies haven’t held back, with big names like Natalie Portman and Jared Leto also making the shortlist for their turns in Fountain of Youth and Tron: Ares, respectively.

Big Names, Big Misses

This year’s Razzies have no shortage of star power, with some of the industry’s most recognisable faces up for less-than-coveted awards. Natalie Portman, usually a favourite with critics, finds herself in the running for ‘Worst Actress’, while Jared Leto’s performance in Tron: Ares has landed him a spot among the ‘Worst Actor’ nominees. Even the supporting categories are stacked with familiar names, from Nicolas Cage to Sylvester Stallone.

The ceremony is set for 14 March, just a day before the Oscars. While the A-listers will be prepping for Hollywood’s night of nights, the Razzies will be busy handing out their own brand of recognition to the year’s most memorable misfires.
