Sutton Foster Turns Heads in Hugh Jackman’s New Romance
Hugh Jackman’s relationship with Sutton Foster has sparked a strong reaction from his Deadpool & Wolverine co-star Ryan Reynolds. Find out what’s really going on behind the scenes.
Hugh Jackman’s new partner, Sutton Foster, has been getting plenty of attention lately, especially from his long-time mate and Deadpool & Wolverine co-star, Ryan Reynolds. Word is, Reynolds has his own take on the couple’s budding romance. According to someone in the know,
“It’s a status thing, and Ryan sees himself as a movie star and a mogul, and he’s careful about the company he keeps, almost to a fault.”
Another person close to the situation reckons Reynolds views Jackman’s relationship with Foster as a bit of a rebound after his split from Deborra-Lee Furness. The dynamic between the trio has certainly got people talking, with Reynolds’ reaction adding a bit of spice to the story.
How Jackman and Foster’s Story Unfolded
The connection between Jackman and Foster first caught the public’s eye when they started sharing snaps and stories about their rehearsal sessions during lockdown. Their chemistry was hard to miss, and it wasn’t long before the media picked up on their growing closeness.
One memorable moment was back at the 2014 Tony Awards, where the pair were seen dancing together, showing off their shared love for the stage. Over the years, they’ve popped up at red carpet events, Broadway openings, and film premieres, always looking comfortable in each other’s company.
Things took a turn in September 2023 when Jackman filed for divorce. Not long after, in October 2024, Foster also parted ways with her husband, Ted Griffin. By January 2025, the two were spotted holding hands in public, making it clear they were more than just mates. Since then, they’ve been seen out and about, enjoying each other’s company and keeping things pretty low-key.
